In the report is a suggestion of repayment of the balances in a few steps, the last in December 2012. This was reported in the English media yesterday and also a quotation in RUV noon news.

CIPFAthinks that the balance owners of Landsbanki should be able to get 90% paid back and may expected that the same is about the Icesave accounts.

Svavar Gestsson ambassador in Copenhagen who leads the delegation of Iceland in the discussions with England and Netherlands about the Icesave accounts, says that the report will be read carefully and it´s results relates to the discussions about Icesave. Other than that does Svavar not want to comment on the report.

About the process of the discussions says Svavar that they are ongoing. The formal contract meeting is expected to be in the beginning of June. "This is all in the normal channel, this case is complicated and equals to one and a quarter national budget." said Svavar.

He says that he is not pessimistic about the result of the discussions and nothing has happened so far that can corrupt the process of the matters. He points out that there has been made a contract with Germany because of Kaupthing edge.
