 Landsbanki has decided to merge the branch on Hofdabakki and Grafarholt and the merged branch will be operated in the housing of the Grafarholt branch at Vinholtsleid. Also has been decided to merge two branches of the district of Snaefellsbaer - the service branch in Hellissandur and the branch in Olafsvik - with headquarters at Olafsbraut in Olafsvik. The first work day in the merged branches is to be on May 24th. None of the employees will lose their jobs because of these changes. The employees of the bank at Hellissandur are from then on going to serve their clients from Olafsvik. Most of the employees of Hofdabakka branch are also transferring to Grafarholt and serve the current clients at the new location, as says in the announcement from Landsbanki. The branch governor of Grafarholt will be Kristjan Gudmundsson who runs the branch at Hofdabakki today. The branch governor of Snaefellsnes is as before Brynjolfur Thor Brynjolfsson.
